SmartCulTour

SmartCulTour is a scalable multi-user serious game for stakeholder engagement in cultural tourism.

In SmartCulTour, a group of 15 players take the role of cultural tourism stakeholders, developing new interventions to improve the cultural sector in their region.

Through role based goals, the players are invited to develop, propose, and implement these interventions as a group.

REQUIREMENTS:

SmartCulTour requires all players to use a smartphone or computer to login as a player.

SmartCulTour (Smart Cultural Tourism as a Driver of Sustainable Development of European Regions) is a four-year project, funded by the European Union in the frame of Horizon 2020, grant agreement number 870708. The goal of SmartCulTour is to support regional development in all European regions with important tangible and intangible cultural assets, including those located in rural peripheries and the urban fringe, through sustainable cultural tourism.
